Our creative writing workshops aim to broaden your literary landscape and kickstart your writing in empathic, community-centered spaces. We intend to fashion useful tools for developing a personal craft & meaningfully engaging the literary landscape. Through the year, we hold a variety of 10-day online workshops as well as 4-day workshops in NYC; we center Black, Indigenous & other writers of color, queer, femme & trans writers in all our workshops. We design our workshops for writers who want to challenge their craft and rupture the limitations placed on their narratives. We won't teach you how to write: instead, we want to collectively build new lenses meant to create dynamic readings and writings.
Guest Seminars have been hosted by a spectacular group of writers including Danez Smith, Fatimah Asghar, Hanif Abdurraqib, Richard Siken, Franny Choi, Tiana Clark, Ryka Aoki, Nabila Lovelace & Rachel McKibbens.
